„The enigmatic Berlin based duo Inkasso serves controlled chaos. Indestructible approach to rhythm machines & synthesisers, unpredictable patterns with carefully investigated electro structures and dynamic detroitish loops.”

The duo is the latest project of Berlin musician and selector Frans Ambient (Kashual Plastik) and Dresden producer Jakob Stoy (Uncanny Valley). For its (still) young existence, the collective already has released a vinyl album “Zeichen Im Schacht Der Verschleierte Tatsachen” on the Amsterdam label Osàre! Editions of the great musician and producer Elena Colombi and performed their live sets in numerous renowned institutions (Zur Klappe, Arkaoda, Sameheads) - this year even at the Meakusma Festival in Belgium.

INKASSO deals intensively and in a futuristic manner with the sound aesthetics of post punk, synth wave, experimental electronica, noise, drone and leftfield techno. In their shows, the two use a variety of synthesizers, drum machines, sequencers and effects devices that are skillfully interconnected and always provide a surprise at their concerts, as well as their performative way of designing their performances.
The live performance of INKASSO at the world-famous Berlin institution Sameheads is proof of the collective’s unconventionality and eagerness to experiment.

The new release of INKASSO is called “Familiendrama” and contains 8 tracks. The musical development of the album takes place in a nonlinear manner. The dreamy and mystical musical mood, which is omnipresent, is again and again enriched by unexpected twist, seldom with singing, sometimes with synthetic-futuristic passages but also rounded off. The result of the eight-month long collaboration between INKASSO, Silhouette Tapes and Kemal Cantürk (formerly Tacheles Berlin) is cast out of concrete and weighs 800 grams. The artwork is thus comparable to a sarcophagus or a relic from the past. The content turns out to be a sound message from the future.
